Of course this is just a test. We will need to set up an official date to do the transfer, shut down the old forum, and then move everything over again.

the Wiki is not done yet but I don't think it is a huge priority at this point and can be taken care of later.

If people don't like the new forum theme I can change it back, but at least for now it helps make it easier to know if you are on the old "active" one, or the new "trial" one.

no, no magic. Hopefully we will have a date and time soon for the official transfer. In the mean time people can try logging in, and test if you can post, access your personal mail, download attachments etc.

please report any problems asap.

Not sure if it matters James but when I first hit reload on the forums at .net it pops up an unformatted looking page view just for a split second. Just text, no images, scroll down the page...maybe .2 or .3 seconds worth.
Maybe just needs to be warmed up

Also it acts a lil' strange when clicking links and such... takes a few clicks, seems like I R clicked instead of L.
But that may be my mouse. Will try with a different one.

I have "only" been away for 1 month or so not visiting the forum here and what do I find coming back? All work done. I am ashamed that I have not been of any help so far!

If I can do anything, please let me know. I can offer funds as well as time (being on kind of sabbatical at the moment - of course with 1.000 items on my to do list).

Let me know, guys. Being German, could also do some language work if necessary.

OFFICIAL DATE FOR THE FORUM TRANSFER:

This Friday Feb. 4th at 14:00 (2pm) Eastern Standard Time. The .org forum should be shut down at that point, and hopefully the .net version will be updated and ready with a minimum delay.

there may be a few minor bumps at that point but I'm sure it's nothing we can't handle...
