PLEASE HELP-Editing and Saving Phython in EG

Post by peterlloyd »

In 2008, I wrote a Python script in EventGhost and have used it successfully ever since to control all kinds of things. Unfortunately I have forgotten how to edit and save the script in the EG environment. When I open EG my script is visible and opens on double clicking. I can then edit the code in the script box which opens but I cannot find a way to save it. HELP PLEASE!!!!

when editing a script I have 4 buttons at the bottom of the window. On the bottom left it says "test". On the Bottom right it says "OK", "Cancel", and "Apply".

clicking "OK" or "Apply" should save your script. If those buttons are not there or not working then maybe you should reinstall eventGhost, and / or show us what you are seeing with some screen captures.
