EG blocking remote messages to other applications

Post by richisss »

Hello,

I use Windows 7 32-bit SP1, MCE Remote, Team Media Portal.
Just installed EG, wrote small script which make few actions with sound card. EG works perfect, but all other aplications are not receiving any event from my remote anymore. (For example Media Portal is no doing anyhting with remtote, same windows also do not recognise anything , even arrow keys not working)

What should I do? Do i really have to redefine each remote event in EG to pass it to other window or what?

Thanks

That's kinda the point, isn't it? EG is intended to run in the background, and the OS only sends the remote keys to the foreground app. So if you have EG get the signals instead of the OS, you have more flexibility in controlling where the events go. But you do have to define where the events go.

thanks ;) will read how to pass events to the system.

btw temporary solved problem by using old MCE plugin (for XP) - works just fine under Win7.
