Hi,
i uploaded my interface and downloaded it with the Smartphone of my girlfriend. Then i wrote the same ip into the smartphone incl. same port. But nothing happens at Eventghost.
What do i do wrong?

Hi, sorry I didn't get to this - I'm not sure if you just want to use two devices, or if you want to communicate between them.
To use both devices, you just need to configure the Eventghost server on each of them, and have the layouts on each of them. On your girlfriends device, you can just configure your server, download the layout and she'll be all set.
To communicate between devices (send events back and forth) requires a few things to be setup:

To communicate between devices (send events back and forth) requires a few things to be setup:
- Make both devices an Android Server by enabling Incoming Events
- Add each as an EventGhost server - On Device 1, add Device 2 as an Eventghost Server. On Device 2, add Device 1 as an EventGhost server
- Layouts can use either the default EG server, or a specific one. If the other Android device is your default server, you can just create a layout, and those events will be sent to the other device. Otherwise, you need to go to Edit Layout, Layout Settings, and set the Android device as the Layout Server.
- Once you have a layout to send the events, now you have to set the other device to do something with those events. Under Options, Configure Macros, create a macro with the event, and choose the action to take...
- If you want to see if the events are being sent to either device, look under Options, View Logs. If you need to, you can filter the logs to show only Incoming or Outgoing Events, or see if a Macro is being triggered.
