Hey all, new to this site. I have a SlingBox set up at another locations and an IR transceiver on my laptop. I have been searching for a way to set the IR signals being blaseted from my remote control to be received my transceiver on the laptop, and then to have those signals mapped to hotkeys to control the SlingBox.
Currently I have a universal remote programmed as a Windows Media Center remote and I can control certain functions like hitting channel numbers (ie. I hit "55" and it changes to channel 55), but i cannot use any other functions. There are hotkeys within the SlingPlayer application for things like the guide, menus, info, etc. but i must use the mouse to control an on screen remote.
I don't know if this program is capable of such things, but someone pointed me in this direction so I figured I'd come ask around. Thanks!
