Runtime errors

Post by themaster1 »

I have lots of runtime errors and eventghost has to close itself , i'm not sure what is causing this so i'll provide to you Pako the .xml in the hope you can find out what's wrong: http://www.sendspace.com/file/kf7f81.

The problem occurs when i use DVbViewer (i use 2 instances for 2 monitors that's why i don't use the plugin, it is not compatible) it also happen with XBMC, MPC-xbmc.
Maybe that's the OSD Menu the problem just a guess.

Please do not take it personally somehow, but this your post can serve as an example what should look wrong post.

1. It is in the wrong section. For report a bug here is the section Bug Reports.
I will there this topic later move, so my reply further search there.
It is not certain that this is a bug. But, by name and by content topic, this topic certainly belongs there.

2. Please - READ THIS before posting anything!. Pay particular attention to point 3.

When you do what is in point 3, we will continue (but in the Bug Reports section).

So you need errors messages from the log ok, itmake sense. Problem is when i get this runtime error i have to close eventghost with the taskmanager so i'm affraid i can't read the log errors let alone copy/paste them .

This fact I unfortunately did not understand from your first post.
You can try two options:
1. Start EventGhost with command line argument -debug
2. Install the plugin Log redirector
