I have made an alternative plugin for this device
The original author, ldobson, seems not to be visiting our forum anymore (Last visited:Mon Jun 08, 2009 8:05 am) and I had since long some ideas and felt for some changes that would fit well, at least to my needs
If you are familiar with this device, you know that it can be configured to operate in 3 different modes; receiver, target and standalone
Together with EG, it is only the standalone mode that really makes sense, the receiver & target modes are thought to be used when you use the devices in pairs without a computer connection
Therefore, this plugin is only supporting standalone mode. If you need receiver & target modes, you are better off using Keene's own software to configure the devices
This implementation is based on the original version made by ldobson and has some new stuff as well as some modifications
New features compared with the original version:
- Added support for sending pronto codes
- Added support for repeats & delays in between
- Added support for learning IR codes
- Added support to discover your Keene IR Anywhere devices
- Improved handling of pasted codes in various formats
- Fixed to work with -translate switch
I have tested it as much as I could so I hope it is "bug-free"
