I have configured EventGhost for my HTPC (my remote is Streamzap).
It works OK for all the programs I have ... but for one program 'Fast Stone Image Viewer' I am lost.
My macro is attached.
The 'Fast Stone Image Viewer' consist of a folder pane, thumbnail pane and toolbar.
What I discovered was that when I click at a menu in the toolbar with the mouse and then 'Down' with the remote ... it works OK.
But when I click with the mouse on a folder in folder pane or at a thumbnail image then the remote button 'Down' don't work.
The keyboard 'Down' worls in both folder pane and thumbnail pane.
What could be the reason ?

Re: Fast Stone Image Viewer
It appears that you have incorrect settings in the Find Window dialog.
For example, for thumbnail panel it should look like this:Pako

It is very simple - use the Drag Finder tool.
And do not forget to uncheck item Window Name.Pako

Re: Fast Stone Image Viewer
I am beginning to love EventGhost more and more ... what a great product
Maybe you can help me with another issue.
When I browse my images with 'Fast Stone Image Viewer' in full screen there is an option 'don't show mouse pointer'
It work OK when I use keyboard arrow keys to get the next image but when I use remote / EventGhost (emulating Right/Left) the mouse pointer shows for a split second when moving between images ... very anoying.
Is there a way to hide mouse pointer in EventGhost ?

Re: Fast Stone Image Viewer
You are right, the mouse pointer is shortly visible, even if it is disabled.
But it's not just the case when you use EventGhost for the control.
It's the same even when using the keyboard. It is thus quite obvious FS_viewer's bug.
Yes, I think that hiding the mouse pointer can be resolved by using EventGhost.
But it would be quite complicated. Maybe sometime I'll try it on.
However, one possible solution here is. You can use IrfanView instead of FS_viewer.
In this viewer is hiding the mouse pointer resolved without bugs.
In addition - you can use the IrfanView plugin, so IrfanView control by EventGhost is much simpler.
For example, to run "slideshow" you can use the Run slideshow action with the following options:If you're going to want to try IrfanView plugin, please download the latest version here.

Re: Fast Stone Image Viewer
I tested FS_viewer (full screen) and here is what I observed:
1) Arrow keys on keyboard don't show the mouse pointer ... works OK with both 'right' and 'left' keys
2) Remote shows only mouse pointer on 'key right' ... not on 'key left'
As I understand it must be a EventGhost problem ... more strange that 'key left' woks but not 'key right' emulation

Re: Fast Stone Image Viewer
It's strange, but in my computer, I discovered something diametrically else:
1. It does not matter whether the commands (left and right) I'll give using the keyboard or using EG (keyboard emulation).
The behavior is exactly the same. It is expected. I see no way EventGhost can influence this behavior.
2. Mouse pointer Busy is shown always in a short period of time whenever the pictures changes.
3. Mouse pointer Normal select is seen constantly when picture is an animated GIF. Otherwise it not be seen.
4. With IrfanView not see mouse pointer in either case (for full-screen slideshow)

Pako,
Thanks for your support - I will go for IrfanView instead of FSViewer

Re: Fast Stone Image Viewer
I like FSViewer very much. Maybe you forgot to check the option "No hourglass (busy) cursor in Full Screen" in Settings (F12) - Viewer. With this option turned on I have no mouse cursor when browsing images in fullscreen not even for a split second (FSViewer 4.5, Win7-64).
Best wishes
