I was having major hassle with a Streamzap remote and its annoying drivers until I found EventGhost.

Nice software, simple to use, does what it says on the "box"!

Any chance of Linux version?

There are currently no plans. Eventhough EG's fundamentals are mostly multiplatform compatible, it would need much coding to make a Linux version. And I have not much experience with Linux. So it would need another coder that is willing to take the job.
