Hey guys,
I would like to trigger this little program HdmiYo to reinitialize my hdmi-connection between my htpc and my receiver.
I can define a keystroke combination like Control+SPACE in HdmiYo to do so.
Now my question is: How do I set up Eventghost to send this keystroke to HdmiYo?
Thanks for you help!
Luca

Re: HdmiYo
depends on how the app works... some apps must be in focus to accept commands. Check with the app developer.
setup... XBMC, W7MC for DVR & Live OTA TV, JRMC for multi-zone audio, EG, MiCasaVerde Vera3, USB-UIRT IR receiver, Harmony remote, 5.2 home theater system

Re: HdmiYo
I don`t think it needs focus. Is there any easy way then?

Have you tried the "Window\Emulate Keystrokes" action/macro?Luca Brasi wrote:Now my question is: How do I set up Eventghost to send this keystroke to HdmiYo?

Re: HdmiYo
The problem is that HdmiYo doesn't have a window.
It would be sufficient to send control+space to the system. Isen't there any way to do this?

Re: HdmiYo
That is the method EG send keyboard commands... if HdmiYo is always listening for key commands it will work. Just try it, will take 3 minutes to build/test.
