MCE Blasting power button to Panasonic G20

Post by dataleif »

Hi!
Im trying to start my TV at 7 every monday-friday using the SchedulGhost plugin. The problem is that I need to hold down the power-button on my tv-remote maybe 1 second to turn it on. I have learned the power-button code and try to run it as quickly as I can for like 15 times or so but it doesnt seem to be fast enough. Is there a better way to do it or can I send the signals faster?

just to clarify. The code for power on I suppose is the same as for power off and that works. It's the holding-down-the-button-thing that I need to fix

Try using the discrete Power On code, instead of the learned code which is an on/off toggle. You'll find it at ftp.panasonic.com

Thanks a lot! It worked like a charm. I thought I had tried it but apparently not. Maybe because it was for 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007 consumer models and mine is newer but it still worked.
