Hello,
I'm using a Logitech harmony with a USB-UIRT and EventGhost to control my win7 media center.
I've managed to configure EventGhost to use a different set of macros depending on the application i'm using (the "enable exclusive" thing). So I can control Windows Media Center and PowerDVD 10 separatly without problem.
Now I'm trying to control PowerDVD 10 trough WMC. Basicly, PowerDVD works "inside" WMC, which means that during playback, you are in fact using PowerDVD (with his own keyboard shorcuts) inside of the WMC window, so EventGhost thinks you are using WMC. There is no "Task.Activated" in the log of EG, so I can't use a "Enable exclusive".
Now the problem is that powerdvd and WMC don't have the same keyboard shorcuts at all, so I can't control powerdvd through WMC.
So I'm looking for a trick to make this work.
Thanks a lot!

How to configure EventGhost with WMC and PowerDVD
Re: How to configure EventGhost with WMC and PowerDVD
Hello
I'm currently strugling with this issue. Eventghost will not generate any event when powerdvd 10 is started within WMC. I use Mymovies plugin to autoload Bluray ISO to Virtual Clone drive. This work perfect when i use the native drivers in windows, but when i use the MCE remote driver for W7 and map the keys for MCE and PowerDVD i cant find a way to set the correct keys automatic when PowerDVD is startet within WMC.
I use a Logitech Harmony one set up as a Version 2 windows remote.
Please help.
