Ok guys, I am a noob at this and I am going to apologize in advance. I am using Event Ghost to Update My Library in XBMC. My instructions call for an action inside of a macro. This action is supposed to Update Video Library in XBMC. I have tried the following.
1. Tried use the start application action. However there is not Update functionality in the xbmx folder. I tried just putting it in the command line. Doesn't work when I tested.
2. Look all over for any Video Library function. There isn't any.
3. Look in Event Ghost and System for another command. No go.
If I am missing a previous post, Mea Culpa. Thanks for the help.

XBMC
Re: XBMC
First you need the XBMC plugin in the autostart folder, if it's not there right-click on autostart choose Add Plugin... then Program Control\XBMC
To get the Update Video Library action, you need to right-click where you want the macro and choose Add Macro... and then in the dialog double-click XBMC and then Update Video Library.
Hope this helps. If you haven't already you should read this short manual.
You could check out my XBMCrepeat plugin it has more actions then the default XBMC plugin.

Re: XBMC
In the XBMC2 plugin it's in XBMC2\Actions\Media Playing\Update Video Library, hmm maybe I should move it.AoW777 wrote:ok, maybe I'm an idiot... I can't seem to find the Update Video Library selection in the XBMC2 plugin, which is the only XBMC plugin I see.
