Hi,
I'm newby, that's obvious.
I just want to trigger a batch file when MediaPortal starts.
That's what I did:
1) Add plugin Task Create/ Switch Events
2) Add Task.Activated.MediaPortal
3) Add action Start Programm pointed to my batch file.
Then I tried it and when MediaPortal starts the batch file execute itself repeatedly opening the cmd window unceasingly.
Then I browsed this forum and googled for several hours till become desperate. I tried everything I read in order to break this action or macro. I don't know how to do it. I tried disable item, stop processing this event, jump, find window and jump.
I would appreciate very much some help.
Thank you in advance.

You dont want to trigger on tasks, because windows going out of focus or new window selections can repeat events. Try using the process plugin for better results.
