I am looking for something that works like remote buddy on mac but for windows.


I only want to open and close programs via my directv remote control is there a way to map buttons to excute open and close programs.

How is this done

EG does this (easily) and 10000x more - install it (takes 10 seconds), and then read the Wiki/Docs, unless you are a techie then you probably won't even need to read the docs - it is that simple.

I interface with via IR to usb as of now without any programing via EG pause stop rw ffwd all work even standby works.

I just want to open and close slingplayer, XBMC, and Vulkano player via the colored buttons

Create Macro... Start/Execute program.
Drag and drop... Button presses (from left of EG window to the right)

Easy peasy.
