I just stumbled upon this service. I am using a HTPC and have a WMC IR dongle in one of its USB ports. I want to simply control my desktop of the HTPC (i.e. mouse movements or simple TAB/SPACE/ENTER/ESC) via my URC MX-9000 remote.
At this point I am not looking to do anything fancy. I just want to get up and running with basic desktop navigation.
I have the EventGhost software downloaded onto my HTPC but I am not sure what the next step is to configure the IR dongle and the MX-900 remote.
