Independent control of 2 keyboards

Post by Coodex »

Hi there,

I have 2 keyboards connected to my PC, I want to make the 2nd keyboard only works under XBMC media center, without interfering with normal windows activities.

Is it possible to have that 2nd keyboard to only work under that certain program only (XBMC) using EventGhost ?

What I am trying to achieve is when I am using the computer, my wife can browse XBMC with the second keyboard without interfering with what I am doing.

I could just get a remote, but I do need that compact keyboard because my wife does type some youtube searches on XBMC sometimes. etc..

I recall doing the exact same setup under linux a while ago but my new soundcard doesn't work under linux with full capabilities, hence I am forced to stay on Windows.

The keyboard is Logitech K400

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated
