How to disable default Windows 7 actions in Medion X10 USB ?

Post by hbpitero »

I have a remote control device (Medion x10) and after installing drivers and plugging in, several actions works by default like:

volume control
direction keys like arrow keys on keyboard/mouse roll
switch off button (sleeps computer)

I want to configure all buttons with EventGhost macros, but even when EventGhost is runing, default windows actions are still working, so some functions works twice after pressing a button on remote device.

How to turn off that default actions ? I've already disabled media center.

Remote device is seen in device manager as: X10 USB Wireless Transceiver (ACPI-compliant)

Did you use the driver you can get in the download section or the drivers windows provided?
