General Observations and Comments on the project
Re: General Observations and Comments on the project
I guess if you had hundreds of users just demanding x and wanting y the attitude is only realistic. The about dialog still has enough place to thank every single contributor by name.

If you ask me, one of the general topics that really would help the most people is this:
and its interaction with the Task plugin of course.

not to forget, that you can use the same button on the remote for multiple programs.Bitmonster wrote:and its interaction with the Task plugin of course.
Although I must admit, that I did not get the general approach.
One plugin that triggers events (remote, keyboard) and one plugin that has action called when the event happens.
Re: General Observations and Comments on the project
Is there any schedule on the handling of plugins?
I would write a Wiki article about the options of the HID plugin and what to try you don't get any events. Currently only Multitap has a description.
Any recommandations on tutorials on how to edit the wiki?

It will start with 0.3.8, but when 0.3.8 will be released, I can't say.Bartman wrote:Is there any schedule on the handling of plugins?
As most other parts of the project, where formatted descriptions are involved, the wiki uses reStructuredText:Bartman wrote:Any recommandations on tutorials on how to edit the wiki?

Hmm, so I was playing with EG for a friend the other day, and again thinking about how there's so much unrealised potential in EG... Saw there've been some management changes...
