Hi, I am creating a little TouchOSC remote control for fun, but am running in to one snag. I am sending midi to the computer from TouchOSC, then bome's midi translator is changing it to keystrokes. So remote works with keyboard commands at the start. The problem I am having is figuring out how to send a USB Uirt command from EventGhost with a keystroke. I can send to the UIRT with MCE remote commands just fine, but manually entering in the keystroke doesn't trigger it. It seems like it would be real simple, but having the hardest time getting that to work lol...
Anyone have a suggestions to send a remote control command on a keystroke instead of the reverse (which works fine). Thanks

Ok, so I figured out that EventGhost needs an actual keyboard in order to read the tasks to bind it to a USB UIRT send. Is there some kind of global any key press alternative to it only selecting an active keyboard that is physically plugged in? It doesn't even accept keyboard commands if I am VNC'd in to it. I am sure it is something simple, but I can't figure it out lol...

Just in case anyone else is trying to achieve this. I found a fix in this post:

Adding that simulated keypress I can trigger USB UIRT with midi commands from my phone. Pretty fun stuff.
