I bought a Gyration Air Music Remote but they sent me a generic receiver and it sucks because half the buttons on the remote don't do anything. I am turning to eventghost to solve my problems but the generic receiver they sent me is not currently supported.
Receiver "Go 2.4 Series USB receiver"
Anyone heard of it? Or have a workaround for me to get some more functionality out of my remote. Heck it won't even control my yamaha receiver...tried autoprogram and all the codes manually.

Support for a generic receiver?
Re: Support for a generic receiver?
Update: The USB receiver model number is: GYAM1100RF-BLK.
Are there not that many people on these boards?

Re: Support for a generic receiver?
Try loading the Keyboard plugin and the Generic HID plugin and see if EventGhost picks up your remote. A lot of generic remotes use keyboard emulation and can thus be used with EG even if not directly supported.
