monitoring a directory when a remote system adds a file

Post by btesoroni »

hello everyone,

I'm currently looking for a way for eventghost to start an marco when a remote "Ubuntu" system adds a file to a mapped directory that the Windows <eventghost> system could see. I've noticed that when I add a file locally to the directory the marcos work with no problem but when the Ubuntu sends the files over via nfs EventGhost doesn't detect the new files.

Could someone help me with this.

Thank you in advance!

Brian
