Main.OnClose

Post by jeanmarcg »

Hi,

I'm looking for an event that would be fired when eg is closing . I'll try Main.OnClose, but it doesn't seem to be fired when I close eg. I'm using the last version available on the site.

Any help ? thanks

Jean Marc

PS : I saw tghe thread talking about Main.Onclose and Main.OnEndSeession. I didn't try OnEndSession at this time.

might help if you explain what the goal is... what you want to trigger upon EG closing?
setup... XBMC, W7MC for DVR & Live OTA TV, JRMC for multi-zone audio, EG, MiCasaVerde Vera3, USB-UIRT IR receiver, Harmony remote, 5.2 home theater system

Hi,
in fact I would like to trigger a python script (to send notification to my smartphone using C2DM via the "Notify my android" service) , but I tried with a "file operation" action, with a "start program" action just to test the event...with no success

I just now tried Network Event Sender plugin + Android device + terRemote.
I can say that the Main.OnClose event works as expected.

I tried it on 3 boxes : two running XP and one running Win7. It works on two (one XP and win7) and not on the third one...anyway ;-)
thanks for your responses
