I am attempting to use a Logitech Harmony 300 with a Hauppauge IR on a machine running Win 7 Home Premium x64 and EventGhost 0.4.1.r1572 and can't get to first base. I have the Hauppauge IR plugin installed, and the Harmony is configured as the Hauppauge remote. Nothing (that includes the original Hauppauge remote as well as the Harmony) is working in this configuration in MCE or XBMC or anything else, and as I am not very good at such things, I have no idea what to do next.
Any help would be appreciated, and the simpler the instructions, the better. Thanks.

Are you getting anything in the EventGhost log window (Having unchecked Log only assigned and activated events)? when you press the buttons on your remote.smilejack1 wrote:Nothing (that includes the original Hauppauge remote as well as the Harmony) is working in this configuration in MCE or XBMC or anything else, and as I am not very good at such things, I have no idea what to do next.

Re: Logitech Harmony 330 w/ Hauppauge IR configuration
You have to install the software WinTV that comes with the hauppauge remote because you need the irremote.DLL (found at the root of the wintv folder once installed)
Then you must disable ir.exe (wintv folder again) in msconfig (start > type "msconfig" > startup > disable ir.exe)
Restart your pc and eventghost will now receive events from the Ir sensor
There are versions of the Irremote.dll that don't work despite that trick (mine is v2.65.27223, works great)
