I will play with this and perhaps ask some other questions.
Thank you for your help.
mine was different:<Plugin Identifier="XBMC2" Guid="{8C8B850C-773F-4583-AAD9-A568262B7933}" File="XBMCRepeat"> gAJYCQAAADEyNy4wLjAuMXEAWAQAAAA4MDgwcQF9cQIoVQlCcm9hZGNhc3RxA31xBChVBkVuYWJsZXEFiFUEUG9ydHEGTVYgVQpXb3JrYXJvdW5kcQeJdVUMTG9nUmF3RXZlbnRzcQiJVQdKU09OUlBDcQl9cQooVQlSZXRyeVRpbWVxC0sFaAZNgiNVBlJldHJ5c3EMSwV1dYdxDS4=
I had to replace mine by yours. How we are supposed to modify this value in the Eventghost interface?<Plugin Identifier="XBMC2" Guid="{8C8B850C-773F-4583-AAD9-A568262B7933}" File="XBMCRepeat">

EventGhost saves the plugin settings there, so to change those settings just doubleclick on the XBMC2 plugin in the Autostart folder.FCB38 wrote:Can you said to me what is the big number after the XBMC2 plugin in your file :
Did you have to use that big alpha-numeric string of mine for the program to work properly?FCB38 wrote: I had to replace mine by yours. How we are supposed to modify this value in the Eventghost interface?
Is mine heaps longer because I reference the XBMC plug-in quite a bit in my configuration?jonib wrote:EventGhost saves the plugin settings there, so to change those settings just doubleclick on the XBMC2 plugin in the Autostart folder.
I think the question is not for me (for jonib perhaps?). I don't really understand. Sorry...blaher wrote:

No worries. Yes, it was for jonib.FCB38 wrote: I think the question is not for me (for jonib perhaps?). I don't really understand. Sorry...
Thank you.
No, it is just the data that is stored when configuring the plugin. So just by doubleclicking the XBMC2 plugin in the Autostart folder and then pressing OK should be enough to get the long data string. Of course check that it has the right settings first.blaher wrote:Is mine heaps longer because I reference the XBMC plug-in quite a bit in my configuration?jonib wrote:EventGhost saves the plugin settings there, so to change those settings just doubleclick on the XBMC2 plugin in the Autostart folder.
Not at all, thank you for responding.jonib wrote:Sorry for not responding earlier.
That's no good to hear. I hope things have taken a more positive turn now.I have been dealing with some health stuff that make me rather unproductive, and any response that required me to do any research, I had to wait until I was up to it.
Thanks for clearing that up; it's good to know the average user doesn't need to worry about copying and pasting strings into .XML files. No, it is just the data that is stored when configuring the plugin. So just by doubleclicking the XBMC2 plugin in the Autostart folder and then pressing OK should be enough to get the long data string. Of course check that it has the right settings first.
I have added a lot more settings in the test version compared to the one included in EventGhost.
I try this but I can't find the big alpha-numeric string. The double-click open the "Plugin Item Setting". When I press OK the window closes. So just by doubleclicking the XBMC2 plugin in the Autostart folder and then pressing OK should be enough to get the long data string. Of course check that it has the right settings first.
