Eventghost with Amblone (ambient light)

Post by User1306 »

I have setup and working the Amblone DIY project. (http://amblone.com/) using arduino and LEDs lights placed behind my tv monitor to mirror the colors on the screen. Similar to Philips ambient light technology.
I was wondering if it would be possible to control arduino from eventghost serial port plugin.
I'm not sure what are the setting I should be using to enable eventghost to communicate with the arduino to trigger events like turn on LEDs on green, or trigger an event to make the LEDs flash some color.

I would like to use it as notification to emails or anything pretty much anything that eventghost can log.
For example if a new email comes in, eventghost will trigger the led light to lash red once then off.

Thank you
