Changing focused application

If anyone has a better idea to detect Beyond TV closing, or Meedio becoming activated please let me know.

I just uploaded 0.3.6.945 with a different Task plug-in. It might be a bit half-baked but should give more "activated" events than before.

I'll try it out later and see how it works with Zoomplayer set to only show in tray.

I was getting errors about python25.dll not being found. Once I copied that into the system32 directory things are looking better. I am testing the focus issues now.

Focus issues seem to be worked out. I can even use EventGhost without explorer running now

It's no good idea to copy python25.dll to the system32 dir. It should live in the EventGhost dir.

I just uploaded a new full setup.exe.

I tired the new version, and I am still getting the python25.dll error.

That's odd. Does there reside a python25.dll in the EventGhost folder?

Yes. I even uninstalled the old version before installing the new one. Once again it works if I copy the included .dll to the system32 directory.

Nope. I run as administrator. Same setup I have been using for a few years now. The older version (EventGhost_0.3.4_build_851_Setup.exe) of EvenGhost works fine.

Hmm, I just tried it with a clean virtual machine. No problems so far. I'm a bit out of ideas what is causing this error on your setup.

Hmm I don't know. As soon as I launch an App (eg. Zoom Player) that has a mode associated with it in EvenGhost, I get the error. One of my Autostart items is a python script for mouse control speed, if that has any bearing on it.

I haven't got this. What do you mean with "a mode associated with it"? Does EG start up normal and the error only shows up on a context switch or something?

Yes, EventGhost start fine. But as soon as I start Zoom Player for example. I get the python25.dll error. I have a

Code: Select all

Switch to mode: Zoom Player
  Task.Activated.zplayer
  Enable exclusive: Zoom Player

That is what I am referring to as a mode.
