Does BTV have the "do not show in taskbar option?"aarb00 wrote:Here is my AutoHotKey script in case someone needs it for reference.
Loop
{
WinWaitActive, Beyond TV
WinWaitClose, Beyond TV
Run, "C:\Program Files\EventGhost\EventGhost.exe" -e QuitBeyondTV
WinActivate, Meedio
}
There maybe better ways of doing this, but it does work.
Now I can use the Main.QuitBeyondTV() event to activate my Meedio exclusive.
The only downside to this process is that the script is always running and takes up a few K of RAM. This program however uses 50 MB less RAM than the Firefly software so I come out ahead.
If anyone has a better idea to detect Beyond TV closing, or Meedio becoming activated please let me know.
Thank you.

It's no good idea to copy python25.dll to the system32 dir. It should live in the EventGhost dir.kricker wrote:I was getting errors about python25.dll not being found. Once I copied that into the system32 directory things are looking better. I am testing the focus issues now.
EDIT
Focus issues seem to be worked out. I can even use EventGhost without explorer running now
I just uploaded a new full setup.exe.

Hmm I don't know. As soon as I launch an App (eg. Zoom Player) that has a mode associated with it in EvenGhost, I get the error. One of my Autostart items is a python script for mouse control speed, if that has any bearing on it.Bitmonster wrote:Hmm, I just tried it with a clean virtual machine. No problems so far. I'm a bit out of ideas what is causing this error on your setup.

I haven't got this. What do you mean with "a mode associated with it"? Does EG start up normal and the error only shows up on a context switch or something?kricker wrote:Hmm I don't know. As soon as I launch an App (eg. Zoom Player) that has a mode associated with it in EvenGhost, I get the error.
