The main change is that you get an event for changes e.g. in volume or listening mode with the text of the new listenming mode or the volume as payload of the event.
eg:
volume.changed: 064
listening_mode.changed: [)(]PLIIx MOVIE
Also you can receive the Audio and Video input/output signals.
Just check the State Querie commands and see what events you receive.
eg:
volume.changed: 064

I'm deeply grateful you are being able to continue developing this plugin. Six month ago I switched my core HTPC to Linux and I have not been able to use EventGhost in the new platform. So ... feel free to modify the plugin in whatever way you want to do so!

nice modification!
But it still disconnects when changing the input...
I'll keep on using + developing my Pioneer Plugin - it's not as handy to use as this one, but it doesn't disconnects when changing the input
