Greetings Folks
I am trying to use EG with gbpvr also and I can't seem to get off the ground. I am trying to load the alternative mce driver but am failing.
I get to the control panel and under the usb section but do not find a item for my mce remote to replace with the alt driver.
Can someone take a minute to explain to me what I need to do please.

Here is the wiki entry for it:

You should have an entry "eHome Infrared Receiver" or something like that in your USB group in the device manager. If not, does the remote show a sign of reaction at all?

Well what trips me up is this line in the instructions
In the Universal Serial Bus Controllers section, locate the entry for the remote, right click and select "Update Driver"
I wasn't sure but yes there is a "eHome Infrared Receiver" under the usb section. I did try to update the driver but it said I had no hardware that matched.
