Doubling of events with Generic HID - Apple Computer, Inc. I

Hello all,

I have installed event ghost und windows 7 64bit on my mac mini via bootcamp. I have installed the IR receiver as generic USB device as described in the following link:

In general it is working, so I receive the events from the apple remote control in the log of EG.

HOWEVER I always get multiple events by pressing once a button. So this really has an influence on controlling the application DVB Viewer.
Every event is executed as many times as in the log window of EG.

So I could not find any solution to get rid of the double/triple events from EG by pressing only the button once very short.

Do you have any idea how to resolve this? I really appreciate your help,

Hi all,

In the mean time I found a solution which even works better for me. As I am using a logitech harmony remote to emulate apple remote and found another compatible remote for the apple idra receiver. It is the firedtv remote. This has lot more buttons than the apple remote and works just fine.

Maybe others can use this solution also.

does this mean you can actually use all those Buttons from the FireDtv Remote with the build in apple ir receiver and Eventghost?

This would be awesome! And did you found another compatible remote to add some more buttons for your harmony (Im using a lot Buttons for DVBViewer)?
