harmony with Eventghost

Post by mmm286 »

Hi,
I have a Harmony 300 and I setup the XBMC with the plugin.
The harmony 300 can setup four devices. I would like to know how could I distinguish one device from other in Eventghost. Because if I using the TV device when I press a button Eventghost also get these event.

Many thanks and sorry for my english!

The simple answer to your question is that you can't. I'm assuming that you're using an MCE IR receiver. When EG "sees" an IR command via that plug-in, in the left-hand pane you'll see something like "MceRemote.Unknown.A1B2C3". I don't know that anyone has decoded the random digits after "MceRemote.Unknown." The practical way to do what you want is to press each button on the remote and see what code it generates.
