Eg crashed anothe application

I have Bearshare installed in my HTPC for music downloading.......works awesome. I hadn't used it (Bearshare) for some time......I tried a few days ago and when I open it I get this: (see picture)
The only associated error in the event log is:

If I CLOSE EVENTGHOST.......it runs like a champ.

Any idea why this happens?
Is there any workaround for EG crashing other applications??

OK....i narrowed it down to the faulting plugin.... :(

Task Create/Switch Events is what is crashing BearShare..... any idea how i can get these two apps to peacefully play together/?
