Can I actuate alt+C scheduled with eventghost?

Post by jimdays »

I have windows xp sp3 with EventGhost_0.4.1.r1582. I have a video capture program, Arcsoft, that I want to schedule a capture period (like programing a VCR to record for an interval). With Arcsoft up and running, if I press alt+c, this will start/stop the capture. So my question is, is it possible with Eventghost to actuate the alt+c two times, according to some future schedule, for example, at 6pm-7pm, when the current time is 8am?

hi jimdays,

of course this is possible. Have a look at the files attached. Load the schedulghost_20121228.xml in eg and point the schedulghost-plugin (in the tree in autostart) to the other xml.
Then you will have to got through each item in the tree in the capture folder to check if these settings fit your needs. Ignore the SchedulGhost-Folder for the moment, these are example macros which could come in handy some time..
