Here is a new plugin NMA (Notify My Android).
Yes, I found out that a similar plugin here have previously appeared:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4071
But I am (at the time) did not understand what it is. And I forgot about it.
So now, when I became acquainted with NMA, it occurred to me to write a plugin for it.
So I ask the author of that plugin (Scope): Excuse me, please.
But I can swear that I have not used even one line of your work
(when I wrote my plugin, I really did not know that a similar plugin exists).

Re: NMA (Notify My Android)
On the NMA website has now appeared a link to EventGhost:BTW - why is it, that here are no responses to this plugin?
To you it seems useless?
Or you are using a better alternative?
I am very interested in it.

Re: NMA (Notify My Android)
Dear Pako,
I have unfortunately an eyePhone and use Prowl, otherwise I would gladly test it. I believe it has a very high value indeed.
Notification of important events to the smart phone is for me a 'must have'.
Best regards, Walter

Re: NMA (Notify My Android)
Dear Walter,
I totally understand you. It is clear, that the question was not directed at you.
But here (in this forum) is certainly very many (say, at least several dozen) users with Android smartphones.
Why are they silent? I do not understand.
Yet I have no smartphone. But if I'll ever possess some, it will definitely Android.
I'm doing it for two reasons: price and openness.
BTW: I found out, that Prowl and NMA protocols are nearly identical.
I'm thinking that we might have one plugin, common to both platforms.
It would have one great advantage:
It would be very easy to send the same notification simultaneously to the users of Android and also"eyePhone".
But I can not do it. In my neighborhood no one has "eyePhone".
Best regards, Pako

The reason Eventghost is listed on their website is because I contacted them regarding the plugin I made.
And it is not useless, I use Notify My Android every day, but I have been using the plugin I made.
And no worries about making a duplicate plugin -The more the merrier!
Take care and keep up the good work!
Kind regards,
Torbj├Ârn Westerlund.

Re: NMA (Notify My Android)
Hello Scope !
To be honest, I contacted them as well.
And this was their reply:
However, I still wonder one thing.
Why still no one cares about it?
This applies equally to your plugin, as my plugin.
Had there been any response to your plugin, I probably would have noticed it. And in that case I would not do that unnecessarily duplicate ...
But when there are already two, then everyone (who, after all, be interested) can choose which one will suit him better.
BTW: What do you think about the idea to do a common plugin for NMA and Prowl?
I'd actually could do. But I had to know at least one valid API key for "eyePhone" (Prowl).
And the owner would have to be patient, because I would have to send a test notifications to him.

That's very kind of you.
I have two questions:
At what time of day I can do the tests?
In which time zone do you live?
Best regards, Pako

Hi Pako,
I live in Stockholm, Sweden (GMT +1), maybe same time zone as you.
- Testing time I think would be ok normal weekdays from 9.00 to 17.00
- Feedback from will be asap
- Special testing sessions with instant response can be agreed upon when actual need is there
Best regards, Walter
PS I will PM the ID later today
