Eventghost, XBMC & Harmony setup

Post by KKopf »

Hi there,

I've just discovered Eventghost a few days ago and was wondering if the following is possible:

I have Windows XP running on a Atom based server and would like to connect it to my AV-Receiver, so that I can listen to certain internet radio stations without the need of a display.

Is it possible to configure Eventghost to wake the server from stand by, open XBMC and start playing a certain internet radio station. All with one button on the Harmony.

By pressing the left or right button on my Harmony remote I would like to switch between my favorite stations.

What do you think, possible ?

Thanks.

Greetings

I haven't used it but "Add action\System\Wake on LAN" should work to wake the server from another computer. If you mean from the same computer don't know.
open XBMC
Use "Add action\System\Start application" to start XBMC.
start playing a certain internet radio station. All with one button on the Harmony.
XBMC2 plugin should be able to do the rest.
