XML back door to SchedulGhost?

Post by rekall »

Hi,

I'm trying to find a way to set schedulghost through a workaround.

Essentially I use dropbox to sync the SchedulGhost configuration (xml) file to my android phone, which allows me to input new times into the xml. Then dropbox syncs the changes back to my windows 7 PC...

My hope is that if eventghost is restarted to 'refresh' all plugins, that the SchedulGhost plugin would re-configure based on the changes in the xml file.

However, the schedule that was altered in the .xml is not showing up on the schedulghost main window.

If I open the dropbox, synced file, the changes I have made on my phone are there, but somehow this is not reflected in SchedulGhost.

Can you help me to figure out how to make this happen? It will break through one of my home automation barriers if i can get this to work!

Thank you for your time!

Cheers,

Antonio

The last action, added to SchedulGhost, was Save data to xml.
So it is quite logical to add reciprocal action - Reload data from xml.
You can download new version of the plugin, that contains the new action.
