Can't communicate from mobile to PC

i'm on version EventGhost 0.4.1.r1610, Win 8(64bit) and the problem is I can't seem to contact my PC with my phone
When i add the plugin autoremote and send a notification or register PC with phone, the phone log shows succesful connecton
Now when I try to send message from Autoremote message in PHONE through tasker nothing reaches the PC and my autoremote remote log in PHONE shows as following:
Sending HI(message) to PC-NAME
Sending HI to IP:xxx.xxx.x.x:xxxx
Couldn't Connect to IP:xxx.xxx.x.x:xxxx
Sending HI to IP: xxx(port no)
Couldn't COnnect to IP: :1818
Sending to dropbox:HI ..
Can't connect to PC-Name. Removing from channels.
Sent to Dropbox:HI

Hello.

I'm having the exact same problem here, except that I'm not using dropbox.

The same thing you described happens with my PC, but not with my laptop.

Have you managed to solved this already?

Have you opened up the ports in your network?

I am using terRemote to send from tasker trough terRemote to eventghost.
its an easy setup in tasker and terRemote
