EG with XBMC and WMC

Post by Thwiipp »

Hi,

I'm trying to get my HTPC running properly with eventghost i use WMC for my DVR duties and XBMC for locally stored rips. How do i get these two working properly, when i recently setup eventghost i no longer had control in WMC or XBMC. I've so many varied information on the subject, but it seems so all over the place i cant wrap my head around it. Can anyone help give me concise info on how to get this done, I'm dying to get this done. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

With EventGhost you need a plugin for every(most) programs you want to control. For XBMC you need my XBMC2 plugin. I don't use WMC but I'm sure there is a plugin for it too look for available plugins within EventGhost or the Plugins forum.

Please ask any XBMC related questions in the XBMC2 support thread.

And if you haven't already read the EventGhost documentation here, and study the included config file how to handle control of more then one program. (and search the forum)
