Problems with PC Remote Controller

Post by tack »

The other day, I bought a PC Remote Controller in Japan.
The name of product was different, but according to the picture, it is identical to the http://www.tigerfly.net's
PC Remote Controller.
When I ordered this product, I decided to use it with generic HID driver. But after searching web, I found
it more comfortable to use it with EventGhost than original presets.
So, I installed EventGhost and driver for PC Remote Controller made by EventGhost.
The Problems I encountered ware two things.

1)I can't use Power button.
According to _init_.py file, Power button is defined in this file. But When I Pressed Power button
,there was no activity recorded in the log. Of cource, I wasn't able to assign this key to a macro either.

2)I can't use NumRock Button.
This case was a bit different from 1) case. NumRock Button was not defined in _init_.py file.
Once pressing this button, I wasn't able to use other 10 num keys. I don't know why.

The Power Button and NumRock Button are well functioning under original presets and default HID Driver.
Then, the possibility of hardware malfunction is unthinkable.

I like EventGhost and appreciate that such a convinient software is open source. SInce I am not programmer,
I can't fix these preblems. Does somebody have a clue to fix them?
