Re: capture cd loading without explorer running
with the event System.DriveMounted.F (F being the letter of your OD) you can and you'd have to disable the auto launch options on win7 (can't remember how exactly)
Re: capture cd loading without explorer running
Will that event work without explorer loaded? Since I am not having explorer.exe load at startup, I have Media Browser Theater load instead (Shelled)
Re: capture cd loading without explorer running
Why don't you try it and let us know?
Another option might be the process watcher plugin, or the 'task create' one.

Re: capture cd loading without explorer running
i'll give it a shot. Never used EG before so I figured I would ask
Re: capture cd loading without explorer running
Installed EG and learned how It worked. Set it up.....and IT WORKS! PowerDVD starts up and loads disc when inserting disc.
Ok so I have it almost setup the way I want. One problem, When I click stop, I want powerdvd to close. So I thought that I could set idle time to 5 seconds and have the "close" action under it. but power dvd closes about 1 second or less after it loads. Is there a way I can get powerdvd to close when I press stop?

There are a few ways to do it. You could use the Power DVD plug-in, or enable a folder when Power DVD is running that detects when a stop button is pressed, which then brings Power DVD to the front, sends alt +f4, or sends a close window command, etc.
