dual screen xbmc
So i just set up EG and have it working with XBMC but I am looking to make EG Bind the remote to nothing but XBMC. I run a dual screen setup and XBMC is always on the second screen with the first being used for games and web browsing what i want eg to do is no matter what i am working on in the first screen it will do nothing but send remote commands to xbmc ignoring any other program even if it is "on top" how would i go about setting this up? Sorry if this question was asked elsewhere I looked through the forums but did not see an answer thanks
Re: dual screen xbmc
My guess would be via the XBMC web interface, and have EventGhost communicate with XBMC via its web-interface...
For sure this should prevent actions sent by EventGhost to end up in another program.

Re: dual screen xbmc
just use the standard xbmx2 plugin , it will send all events to xbmc no matter if its the active window or not

I must have something setup wrong then I am using the stand xbmc2 plugin and still get button pushes if xbmc is not on top

Attach your EventGhost config and a log where you press a button and XBMC is not in focus.rcarnes911 wrote:I must have something setup wrong then I am using the stand xbmc2 plugin and still get button pushes if xbmc is not on top
That way it should be possible to see whats going on.
As the XBMC2 plugin don't care if XBMC is in focus or even running on the same device/PC.
