Is there a good alternative to Tellstick 434MHz sensors?
I live in Sweden and am currently using a Tellstick with Nexa sensors using 434 MHz radio. It works great but they all run at the same frequency so as I'm getting more devices I get more problems with collisions. Are there any good alternative technologies using other frequencies available that work well with EventGhost?

Well, in general it has nothing to do with the actual frequency, it is more due to limitations of the protocols. All these simpler (and cheaper) devices use a rather simple one way protocol, besides there is no collision detection, so the more devices you have, the higher risk that you will be affected by such collisions.
I have both the TellStick Duo and the RFXtrx. Both are good, but RFXtrx have support for many more protocols and very good sensitivity for most devices except ESIC/UPM sensors (UPM/ESIC is working better with the Duo).
Where the RFXtrx really is outstanding, besides having support for so many protocols, is in transmission speed and buffering if you need to send many commands as quickly as possible.
Anyway, this doesnt help or fix the protocol problem. To get a more reliable solution you need to migrate to another technology like Z-Wave. I have this as well in my house and earlier I also created an EG plugin for the RaZBerry. Since you are Swedish, you could check my post at SwitchKings forum:

Nice tips. The problem with collisions is mostly because the IR sensors and such send for so long, often over a second.

I assume you mean RF(radio frequency) and not IR(infrared)....

No I use IR sensors to track my movement in the house and they happen to communicate through RF...
Changing them to Z-Wave sounds like a great plan, then lights and remotes can operate on 434 MHz with sensors on 868 MHz so I don't have to wait for the sensor to stop sending before transmitting a command to the lights. And I can avoid problems like when I move too fast and get to the next sensor while waiting for the first to stop sending and then the new one will block my previous command...
The sensors work best in doorways but so does remotes ...
I'm Also using the positional information to control my Sonos speakers so I can have the music follow me from room to room as well. Being on WiFi it works much better so hopefully Z-Wave would make everything as reliable.
I noticed you have the USB-UIRT plugin running. Where can I find the hardware for it in Sweden? If I get a Raspberry with a RaZBerry it would be nice to put it next to the TV and also have a USB-UIRT connected to the Raspberry so I can add the TV to my list of computer controllable devices.
