Hey
I have a Home Automation installed in my house that is capable of sending ASCII or HEX codes using IP.
Normally this is used to communicate with Hig-end Audio devices (NUVO, ...). i would now like to control a PC by sending IP codes to it from my HA system.
For example: when you switch on the light in the bathroom, the HA system also sends an IP string to a dedicated media PC to start a music app (Winamp) and start playing.
I assume this is possible using Eventghost.
My guess would be that I need to implement a plug-in similar to "network event receiver" which is able to receive these ASCII/Hex codes. Am I wrong?
How can be this be done?
Thank you in advance!!!
