This means that you need the latest version (0.0.22 - released 2014-08-02) in which the bug is already fixed.

Sorry, I try to provide as much details as I can. With todays post, yes, I was kinda rushing for work. It helps to know what sort of details you are looking for too.

Alright, I've restarted EventGhost. I have about 30 macros, 20 of them assigned to simply execute a keystroke combination which in turn executes a LED lighting system thats attached to my monitor.

Here is one such macro:

I have with some testing figured out what was the issue, and it was indeed due to case-sensitivity. I misunderstood your earlier post about the same when you mentioned it. It's impossible to get all simple letter pushes sent from any client (and this is by design, again as you've mentioned). All of my macros have simple letters only, I can now correct them. That was the culprit - thanks very much for your help.

So for example right now I'm not sure whether the problem is resolved.

I also tried the PushBullet plugin from sfalkman and basically it works ...
However, I had the feeling that there are some imperfections and that the plugin uses very little the potential of PushBullet service.
So I decided to create another version.
Perhaps you will like it.

Installation instructions:
A) Complete installation (for new users)
A.1) You have to download the file PushBulletPluginFolder.zip
A.2) Unzip it and the folder PushBullet (including content) move to the folder ...\EventGhost\plugins.
A.3) Download the file __init__.py (at the bottom of this post) and move it to new folder ...\EventGhost\plugins\PushBullet.
A.4) Restart EventGhost and add the plugin PushBullet to your configuration.

PushBulletPluginFolder.zip

B) Only upgrade
B.1) The downloaded file __ init__.py move to the folder ...\EventGhost\plugins\PushBullet (replacing the file with the same name)
B.2) If there exists a folder "lib" in the folder ...\EventGhost\plugins\PushBullet, delete it.
B.3) If in folder "icons" is missing the file "Reply.png", download it (right click and "Save Image As ...") and put it there.
Note: This may happen when it is a upgrade from version 20 or lower to version 21 or higher.
B.4) Restart EventGhost

Ultimately, I would have a log file that contains the name of the applications that pushed notifications to your pushbullet plugin. Hopefully that makes sense!

Go to pushbullet.com and sign in. Then click on your user icon and click account settings. Finally, copy your access token and paste it in the pushbullet plugin config window

I had to make minor adjustments to make it possible.
So you can now proceed as follows:
#1) Install the new version of the plugin (0.0.23)
#2) Add the plugin File operation to your configuration
#3) Add the following macro to your configuration (you can use copy / paste)

Your Pushbullet plugin is becoming ever more useful to me, thank you!

I am having some trouble getting my devices (samsung tablet and iphone) to send notes to the Evengthost PC. For instance, yesterday it did not work anymore (i.e. no PB events were received from those devices) and I decided to restart Eventghost. I thought: great, solved! However, this morning I am again not able to receive the notes I send from mentioned devices. I know they are being sent, as I can view the messages pop up in the Pushbullet apps on both the Android and Ios apps.

All I see in the Eventghost log is:
Pushbullet: Haven't seen a nop lately
Pushbullet: Websocket closed

The other way around is always OK: All messages that are sent from the PB pluging in Eventghost come through on my devices without problems.

I am using latest Eventghost 1669 and the latest version of your plugin (I think that is 023)

After I configure the Pushbullet plugin, I receive the following in the EG log:
Devices received (this gives only numbers but not names of devices)
Friends received (only shows: [] )
Targets received (this correctly lists the names of all PB enabled devices I have, including the associated numbers)

I know it is not a lot to go on, but you have proven in the past that often don't need a lot to still be able to provide us with the right answers!

Edit: just now restarted Eventghost and it is receiving notes from Pushbullet again, so let's see how long it now works.
Ps: I noticed that, when entering the title of the note on my Iphone as: "26on" (without quotation marks), it is received in Eventghost as "26On" (also without quotation marks, but notice the capital letter of the received word "On", whereas I entered lower case letter on the Iphone "26on"). Not a big deal, but it can cause confusion.

I sometimes also tend to have a problem - for example, after waking the laptop from hibernation.
I repeatedly receive the following lines (if I have selected log level 5):

In this case, yet do nothing else than to restart EventGhost.
I've tried to find a solution, but so far without success. I will certainly continue in the search for solutions.

Yes, I know it may seem confusing.
I will try to explain why this is so.
Imagine that someone (or some of your equipment) will send you a PushBullet note, where Title = This is note title.
In the previous version you get an event PushBullet.Note.This is note title (and a payload).
I think it is very confusing, when a space character is part of the event string.
In the new version you get an event PushBullet.Note.ThisIsNoteTitle (and a payload).
Personally I much prefer the second version.

Notes:
This relates to the fact that Pushbullet has a new cool feature : Introducing Universal Copy & Paste.
It is possible to disable the notification (that is event triggering) for selected devices.
This is especially useful for PushBullet desktop application.

Not sure if I downloaded the wrong update or something.... I just found this plugin and pushbullet, so I download the plugin and I follow the directions, however when I try to add the plugin into the events tree, EventGhost stops responding. To my knowledge I have done everything right.

It is possible that your problem was in version 0.0.24.
I have been testing for several days version 0.0.25.
Try it out please!
Now I've tried it and no problem occurred.
I created a new blank configuration and I added PushBullet plugin.
The configuration dialog is opened.
I put the API key.
I confirmed with the OK button.
Everything works as expected.
At what point it stopped working for you?
