Noob needs some help.

Post by JoeBlow42069 »

I am running EventGhost 0.4.1.r1669, Win 7 64bit, service pack 1. What I want to do is boot EG as a shell, run Xpadder (minimized), Steam (minimized/hidden in system tray without big picture or steam client window. I have no problem doing this outside EG, but for some reason EG always launches the Steam Client), and XBMC (maximized, on top of everything else, in fullscreen not fullscreen window). So on startup the only thing seen is XBMC, and nothing should cause XBMC to minimize because it's in fullscreen mode. I have been able to auto start all these programs, and boot EG as a shell, but the minimize/hidden/maximize buttons aren't working for me, and something always causes XBMC to minimize. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, just not sure what. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You could use the task create plugin to monitor when you get Task.Deactivated.XBMC and then find window, bring to front, maximise.
