Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

So finally had a chance to look into this.

Are you using the latest version of the XBMC2 plugin (0.6.14 included in last EventGhost)?

When using XBMC2 commands i.e. Open Window: Movies no control is passed to XBMC.

What command is this? I can't find it anywhere in the plugin. Are you even talking about a JSON-RPC command here or is it a command from the "Actions" folder?

I found that if i manually send the command using your experimental action "Send Any JSON" I can get it to work.

So JSON-RPC commands work.

What XBMC are you using?

Is this the complete error message, as it seems to be missing information. So I have no idea what might cause it.

HTTPAPI is not supported in the last few versions of XBMC. And this error message seems incomplete too.

When posting errors from EventGhosts log it might be better to take a screenshot of the error (having resized the window so the full error is visible).

Much better, now I see where the problem is, but not what.

I need to know what the parameter is in the JSON-RPC action thats cousing the problem.

I did following: Namespace: Favourites Method: GetFavourites. When I hit Test i get errors from above. No matter what I select as napespace and method I always get the same errors.

Hello,

I searched, but didn't find it in the thread. Would it be possible to add the new Gotham Action IDs into the latest version of this plugin? Specifically "ChapterOrBigStepForward" and "ChapterOrBigStepBack" as listed here:

I think Frodo operated differently with Chapters and Big Steps and this new Gotham action replicates that behavior so I'm just trying to get it back to the way I was used to. Thanks for the great plugin by the way.

There are many actions missing as I haven't updated the action list in a while. And just to be a jerk I won't add these.

But I am adding a button so any missing actions can be added from XBMCs(Kodis) website. And later when I feel like it I'll add any of the actions to proper categories.

Are you using a remote to control XBMC? if so are you using the actions under XBMC2\Buttons\Remote? In that case you can edit the XBMC keymap to get it they way you like.

I'm posting a new test version 0.6.16.

I have added a "Update actions" button in the XBMC2 settings, it will (as long as the XBMC site is not changed) check if there are any new actions in XBMCs code and adds them in a new category "Manually updated".

With this you wont need to edit the plugin manually with new actions or wait for me to do it.

At some point I might move some actions to better category's, but my development speed has been so slow so I don't have any idea when I might feel motivated enough.

Thanks to BinaryTB I just got a injection of motivation so I made this update.

Hopefully someday I will do a proper update and just not these "test" updates, if you live long enough you might experience it.

Try this (With double quotes)

JSON only supports double quotes for strings. I'll make the plugin handle these kind of errors at some point.
