Webcam Image Capture Plugin

Post by Krafty »

Hey guys, I recently had the idea to make a plugin that captured and saved a photo from a webcam as an EventGhost action.
After working on it for a few days, I finally came up with something.

You can check it out and download it on my website: Webcam Image Capture - Event Ghost Plugin

The website has a guide and a few simple examples.
This is the first project I've ever completed in Python. I hope you guys find it useful.

Here's a couple screenshots:

Please post here if you have any questions or comments. I'll be glad to help. Thank you! =D

Should be in the plugins forum, but if this works as intended (I don't have the hardware with which to test), I can think of at least a few uses for it. Good work!

Hmmm, I was sure I posted this in the plugins forum.

Well anyway, thanks for checking it out.

Hey Krafty,

Just wanted to say: thanks for sharing!!
Although I can not think of a use for myself just now, it looks like a very convenient plugin.

Hi Krafty,
Very useful plugin, 8)
Is there a way to change the Day/Time format of the saved image. :?:

So instead of :-
Month/Date/Year - Hour/Mins/Seconds
Have :-
Date/Month/Year - Hours/Mins

Not to worry if its to much trouble :)

Cheers Paul.
