No IR reception

Hello everyone,

I installed EventGhost to replace Girder, which doesn't work very well.

I have an USB UIRT but when I want to add a macro-command, I select "IR Transmit" and "Learn IR Code year" I'm pressing a button on my remote, no code appears ...




However I see IR codes appear in the log left when the "Learn IR Code year" window is closed.

Should we set something in particular?

Hi Chris,

It could be many things.
First make sure the USB-Uirt drivers are installed.
Then try using the USB-Uirt though another program such as the one I mentioned here viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3448#p29657.
If Uirt-J works you can just copy and paste the codes from Uirt-j to eventghost and then trouble shoot eventghost from that point if desired. If Uirt-j does not work there may be a problem with the USB-Uirt hardware or drivers.

I'm not at home now, but the USB UIRT has work with Girder, then I think that the driver is installed, no ?

ok, i've uninstall the driver and I re-install it and it's ok now
