Is there a plugin in for detecting phone calls on my Sip account?

Re: SIP client
I do not know of anything similar with one exception.
You can try Phoner plugin.
This (obviously) requires that you install program Phoner.
I beg you: if you try it, write your experience here (any kind of course).

Re: SIP client
I tried your plugin with the phoner program, the Phoner program shows the incoming phone number.
But how can I send this phone number to eventghost.
I tried "External Application" in Phoner when there is an incoming call.
C:\Program Files\EventGhost\EventGhost.exe -e PhoneCall
But nothing in Eventghost,

Eventghost is pretty new for me and I learn every day, I am very happy with it.

Re: SIP client
This is nonsense, you do not need it, when you have a plugin.Jacco wrote:I tried "External Application" in Phoner when there is an incoming call.
Now I've tried it, it works smoothly:
1) The downloaded file __init__.py I copied into the directory ...\EventGhost\plugins\Phoner
2) I rebooted EventGhost and added plugin Phoner
3) I start the action Phoner: Start/Connect Phoner (if Phoner is not running at the moment, so it starts)
4) That's it - events from Phoner appearing in EventGhost log
Note to Item 3):
It you can start automatically, for example using event Main.OnInit

Re: SIP client
The only event I see in hte EventGhost log is.
- Phoner.Offering 257
- Phoner.Disconnecting 257
- Phoner.Disconnected 257
- Phoner.Idle 257
but no incoming number.

Re: SIP client
Yes it does,
I had for years an analog old modem, connected to a serial2lan converter, that detects the phone number on the wired line.
Now I can skip the modem and the converter, so also two power adapters
Thanks,
Jacco
