Map alt+f4 to xbox controller?
How do i map alt+f4 to the xbox controller using the middle button? most detailed guide i came across was this - http://www.avsforum.com/forum/26-home-t ... st18761671 which taught me how to do the find window and close window part but i have no clue how to input the xbox middle button action. I clicked on the plugins then joystick and then pressed the xbox middle button but it did nothing.

You can't with just EventGhost alone. Well, you can if the controller is connected via cable, like if it is the original Xbox controller. If it is a wireless (or maybe even wired) 360 controller or later you will need a lot more effort.
EG uses a plugin called "Joystick" to collect input from game controllers, joysticks, etc. The plugin uses DirectInput to do that. The Xbox controller does not use DI, it uses XInput to send information to the computer. EG can not read the native Xbox buttons such as the menu or middle button because it does not support XInput, and probably never will.
Don't worry, there is a work-around. But, it may not be preferable. First you need software that can pick up the XInput controller. I know the software XPadder can. However, it is no longer in development and costs money. There is also something called Pinnacle game controller-or whatever. I have no experience on that paid software so I can not speak for it. There are a number of independent softwares out there you can get for converting XInput to keyboard though. All of them are in beta or alpha I believe.
Once you get some software that can capture the Xbox 360 controller buttons then you simply reassign the "middle button" to Alt+F4. You therefore don't need EG. If you do you will have to assign the middle button to a different key combo. Like Ctrl+Alt+F11 or something. When eventghost's keyboard plugin picks up "Ctrl+Alt+F11" it can perform the script you want, such as Find the Window, and Send Keyboard keys Alt+F4.
